This is a free family friendly music event that will take place in downtown Fergus at Templin Gardens on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 pm during the months of July and August. Dates are July 4, 11, 18, 25 August 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29. This event will be a musical performance with the artists sharing their personal stories of Centre Wellington and their lives here. The end of the evening will conclude with a Piper on the stairs piping down the sun, the historic Templin stairs built in 1920, would be illuminated in candles, creating an intimate finale to the evening.
Templin Gardens are located in Downtown Fergus and are a part of our new Riverwalk, and an attractive heritage setting for this event. The park is a beautiful garden display with a large historical set of stone stairs spiralling down the gorge wall to the river’s edge. When permitting, we may situate some of the singers and band members on these stairs to perform some of their music and have it echoing into the natural amphitheatre of the Gorge. ( power supply and sound system permitting)
This event will run rain or shine, so bring your umbrellas!!
